Taxiing is an inspirational comedy set in Cape Town and follows Taxi driver Hans and his friend, Gaatijie (Gar-chee), as they follow their dreams to become pilots and build a flying taxi. This story is about expanding horizons and Hans and Gaatjie have to battle their lack of education and money to become something everyone assumes they can never be. After saving for years to go to flight school only to find they will never have enough money they decide to go it on their own. They meet new friends, and enemies, in the pursuit to give their community an opportunity to rise above what they know. After many failures and doubts Hans and Gaatjie learn that following your dreams is not easy feat but no less worth it in the end.
